
Steve Griffin President, Optical Microscopy Lab Manager
Steve received his B.S. in Geology from the University of Texas in 1983. He has over 20 years of experience in managing PLM and PCM asbestos analytical laboratories and is responsible for maintaining the laboratory’s NVLAP accreditation. Steve’s background in optical microscopy, crystallography and optical mineralogy as well as his 20+ years of experience in the analysis of materials for asbestos makes him one of the world’s most respected and experienced asbestos analysts.

Colleen Quindlen, M.S, Microbiology Lab Manager
Colleen has an M.S. in Biotechnology with a concentration in microbiological applications from the University of Connecticut. Prior to that she completed a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in English at Southwest Texas State University. Before joining Omni, Colleen worked for Mycoscience Labs, Inc. where she was primarily responsible for the analysis of environmental samples for bacteria and fungi. Colleen is responsible for implementing Omni's Aerobiology lab’s standard operating procedures for the analysis of environmental samples for mold.
Monika Enriquez, Asbestos Analyst
Monika has a B.S. in Environmental Science and Biology from Concordia University in Austin, TX and several years of experience in the asbestos industry both in the field and in the lab. She also has microbiological experience in the analysis of mold from environmental samples. Monika has experience in both the AIHA EMLAP accreditation process and the NVLAP accreditation process for asbestos by PLM. She recently completed an Advanced Asbestos Identification Course in Chicago taught by renowned microscopist Peter Cooke.
