
Tetraploa, occasionally found in our air samples, is a widespread genus usually found on plant material such as leaf bases and stems.
On common laboratory media colonies are dark green, brown or dark greyish though natural characteristics can vary.
Certain Tetraploa species have been associated with human infections such as keratitis.
